The Accelero S1 Rev2 dramatically extends the compatibility to many of the latest graphic cards. It supports high-end to main stream graphic cards including the latest hot selling ATI HD4870 and NVIDIA 9800GTX+.

Accelero S1 Rev2 features four copper heatpipes which connect directly from the GPU core. The heatpipes with sintered powder wicks provide ultimate heat conductivity. Heat from the GPU is rapidly dissipated through 32 fins that extend beyond the height of the graphic card. These optimised fins design allow for better air flow thus removing the heat more effectively. Together with the bundled RAM heat sinks and voltage regulator heat spreader the Accelero S1 Rev2 provides an all-round passive solution that achieves the best cooling performance.

Superb,Outstanding,Professional....
I bought this for a Sapphire HD 4850 card. The old stock cooler was 82c in idle, and 98c under full load & very, very, very noisy. It sounded like a large hoard of hyenas. Now it’s ok. I am not mounting a cooler on top of Accelero because I am pleased with it as it is. It was delivered within 3 days from U.K. in Romania. Great job. Thank You Arctic Cooling, thank you QuietPC. Now my ears can rest. :))
9800 GTX+
I purchased one of these for my Gigabyte 9800gtx+ card. Installation was perfectly straight forward and the cooler looked as though it made proper contact with the gpu. Apparently looks can be deceiving though.
The card only powered up for a few seconds before I lost video and was thereafter unable to boot at all. After removing the Accelero to replace the stock cooler it was clear that the card wasn’t actually making any contact at all, something that’s very hard to see due to a slightly raised ridge surrounding the gpu on that card. In hindsight I perhaps should have ignored the instructions and omitted the supplied spacers which I suspect were slightly too high to allow proper contact.
Unfortunately for me the few seconds of uncooled activity was enough to destroy my 9800gtx+ and it no longer functions, stock cooler or otherwise.
Be very careful with this product to confirm that it is definitely making good contact with your card.
Rubbish - don't beleive the compatibilty list.
I bought this for a nVidia GTS250 card made by Asus, which it is supposed to be compatible with. After installing as per the instructions, there was at least a 1mm gap between the GPU and the Accelero heat sink.
After much kludging, I managed to get it to actually make contact with the GPU, but obviously not well enough as the video card would just itself shut down a few seconds after each boot, presumably from over-heating.
I have now gone back to the noisy stock cooler, after wasting £17 and an entire afternoon.
Sorry to hear about your experience - I am not sure whether there was a manufacturing fault with the cooler, or maybe your graphics card may be designed slightly differently from other GTS250 cards. Either way, please contact us and we will arrange a refund.
Savage Card
9600 GT - I bought this because the stock cooler made my apartment sound like a scene from the engine room in Das Boot. A constant hum. Took 4 mins to install. So why only 9 stars?
It lost one, because it’s actually really big - great for a passive card, but I had some issues fitting it on my motherboard. It runs wider and fatter and slightly longer then the card itself. So I had to move a pile of cable connectors and I was just lucky I had alternative slots on the motherboard to fit my HDDs. P35 Diamond.
If you are getting this - have a look at where you card sits. You want an inch wide past the card itself. And if no raised motherboard parts are there, you are sorted (or if you have spare sockets).
Does what it says on the tin.
Got this for my redundant Inno 3D Nvidia 9800GTX - the original fan broke. Just fitted it, came with heatsinks for RAM and voltage regulators (no idea what these look like). These have thermo stickyback tape on. I left these off as it was OK before.
My average GPU temp is about 45’C compared to old original HSF which was averaging at 53’C. I guess it would perform even better if the small heatsinks were installed.
One small GRIPE, the screws and clips don’t match the ones on the instructions sheet. This is not a big deal, unless you’re someone who really NEEDS to follow instructions all the time. After all it’s only 4 screws (+washers) and 2 clips - just be careful not to accidentally scratch off the TIM paste on the heat sink, its viscosity is quite creamy unlike the turgid original white TIM paste that I cleaned off.
Well it does the job fine, it’s silent and well priced to boot. Does what it says on the tin (blister pack). Delivered within 3 days. Am pleased.

Bought this and the matching ‘turbo’ fans to replace a stock GTS250 cooler, and have seen huge drops in the card temperatures.
- Idle at desktop went from 52 to 38°C.
- futuremark stress test now maxes out at 62°C, whereas previously I stopped it at 90°C for fear of damaging the card!

Fitted one of these to quieten my PC. Noisy stock fan kept the GPU between 40c and 50c. This keeps it between 39c and 42c. Great cooling with no noise!! GFX card is a 9600GT.
Much better than stock cooler...no noise lower temps RESULT
Stock cooler 46c idle 70c load & noisy could hear above case fans. Fitted this….36c idle 56c load. Great product installed in micro atx case running HD3850 AGP. Thanks Quiet PC…want it quiet get this !
